An attempt to prove they're not all 'sugar and spice'.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/labour/10666875/Patricia-Hewitt-called-for-age-of-consent-to-be-lowered-to-ten.html

Patricia Hewitt called for age of consent to be lowered to ten
Former Labour cabinet minister apologises for links to paedophile group in 1970s and admits she 'got it wrong'

Patricia Hewitt was forced to apologise after it was revealed that she had called for the age of sexual consent to be lowered to ten.

The document published in the former Labour cabinet minister’s name also called for incest to be legalised.
A National Council for Civil Liberties (NCCL) press release quoted in The Sun issued in Miss Hewitt’s sole name in Mach 1976 read: “NCCL proposes that the age of consent should be lowered to 14, with special provision for situations where the partners are close in age or where the consent of a child over ten can be proved.”

The document, which relates to an NCCL report on sexual law reformed continues: "The report argues that the crime of incest should be abolished.

“In our view, no benefit accrues to anyone by making incest a crime when committed between mutually consenting persons over the age of consent.”

Miss Hewitt, who was general secretary of the NCCL from 1974 to 1983 said: "I take responsibility for the mistakes we made. I got it wrong on PIE and I apologise for having done so.

Miss Hewitt finally broke her silence and apologised for her role in the scandal after The Telegraph asked her to explain why the NCCL of which she was general secretary had pledged its “protection and support” for prominent paedophile group the Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE).
Miss Hewitt said she had been out of the country for the past 12 days as the scandal over the links has been growing and apologised for her association with the group.

She said: “NCCL in the 1970s, along with many others, was naïve and wrong to accept PIE's claim to be a ‘campaigning and counselling organisation that ‘does not promote unlawful acts’.
"I should have urged the council to take strong measures to protect NCCL’s integrity from the activities of PIE members and sympathisers and I deeply regret not having done so."

Miss Hewitt later became press secretary to Labour leader Neil Kinnock. She was an MP for 13 years to 2010 and served as a Health Secretary in the last Labour government.

Her admissions place further pressure on Harriet Harman, the deputy Labour Leader who served as legal officer for the NCCL from 1976 to offer a full apology for her own links to the paedophile organisation.
Miss Hewitt’s frank admission that “got it wrong” contrasts sharply with Miss Harman’s insistence that she has “nothing to apologise for.”

Miss Harman has insisted that PIE was confronted by NCCL in 1976 and “pushed them to the margins.”
However pressure was building on her to offer a full apology over links. Rob Wilson, the Tory MP for Reading East, said: “It is right and welcome that Patricia Hewitt has apologised.

“It makes it hard to see why others involved would not wish to do the same.”

http://globalnews.ca/news/3519110/band-scraps-video-shoot-at-tsawwassen-water-park-over-alleged-transgender-change-room-policy/

You couldn't make this up. Empowered wimmins fighting for the things that really matter and destroying society men have spent thousands of years creating.....

Proof that the SJW destruction's of society is being driven forward by the wimmins.

Quote :
A California-based singer says she’s cancelled plans to shoot a music video at a Tsawwassen water park because of what she perceives as an unfair policy around use of change rooms by transgender people.

House music singer Chelsko was looking to recreate scenes from pop-punk band Blink-182’s “First Date” music video which was shot at the same location under its old name, Splashdown Park.

“So I asked them about their facilities policy, if gender-fluid people can use the facilities, or if they can use either one of their choosing, or how that all works, so I sent them a message on Facebook.”Facebook.”

To be honest I can't tell if this is satire or not..... but looking at this Chelski woman I fear in her abject raging stupidity that she is probably serious.

At the same time she cavorts like a slut on the internet she says:

Quote :
Short Blonde Bubbly Christian girl brought up in the the most Liberal state and even more Liberal City in America

There's just no logical consistency behind this woman at all. But it's something MGTOWers have all long since come to expect.

The press seem to be reluctant to give details on this, but I found this full article.

Woman pushes man under tram...

Manchester Victoria tram death: Murder arrest over 'push'

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was "pushed into a moving tram" and died at Manchester's Victoria station.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, was pushed, causing him to fall between the platform and tram, Greater Manchester Police said.

A Metrolink driver reported a collision at about 19:45 BST on Sunday, Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) said.

A 31-year-old woman is being questioned in police custody.

The woman arrested was not the tram driver, police confirmed.

Metrolink customer director Stephen Rhodes said he was "absolutely devastated" to hear someone had died.

Quote :
'Hang yourself, jump off a building, stab yourself': Teenage girl suggested ways for her boyfriend to kill himself in texts - as court hears him speak from beyond the grave about his depression in video diaries

Massachusetts teen Michelle Carter repeatedly gave boyfriend Conrad Roy III lists of ways he could commit suicide in the weeks before he took his own life, a court heard Thursday.

Carter, then 17, told Roy, 18, in text messages that he could break his neck by hanging, stab himself, or use a generator to gas himself, the court heard.

She also became angry at him for 'putting off' suicide for too long, telling him, 'You just need to do it!'

The court also heard from Roy himself in the form of a pair of video diaries in which he talks about trying to overcome his depression, social anxiety, and feelings of worthlessness.

In one moving moment, he says he's scared that he 'will never be successful, will never have a wife, never have kids, never learn.'

"court hears him speak from beyond the grave"

Hahaha, that must've been truly something.

She's weak, she should've just been boundaried with him, though obviously she wasn't inclined to think of this.

Ms. Carter also struggled with mental illness. Her lawyers claimed antidepressant drugs influenced her behavior; though the prosecution preferred to cast her as a callous narcissist who craved the sympathy of her peers and believed a suicidal boyfriend would earn her a popularity boost.

Guilty Verdict for Young Woman Who Urged Friend to Kill Himself JUNE 16, 2017

In either case, Ms. Carter’s conduct was morally reprehensible. But — at least until today’s ruling — it was clearly legal. While some states criminalize the act of convincing people to commit suicide, Massachusetts has no such law. Moreover, speech that is reckless, hateful and ill-willed nevertheless enjoys First Amendment protection. While the Supreme Court has carved out narrowly tailored exceptions for literal threats of violence and incitement to lawless action, telling someone they should kill themselves is not the same as holding a gun to their head and pulling the trigger. Nor is it akin to threatening to kill the president, which is specifically prohibited by law — and in any case, only considered a felony if done ”knowingly and willfully.” (Merely expressing hope that the president dies isn’t enough.)

Judge Moniz’s verdict is a stunning act of defiance against this general principle. By finding Ms. Carter guilty of involuntary manslaughter — rather than some lesser misdeed, such as bullying or harassment — the court has dealt a blow to the constitutionally enshrined idea that speech is not, itself, violence. That’s cause for concern.

For decades, efforts have been underway to criminalize every obnoxious or problematic social interaction between K-12 kids in American schools. Hardly a week passes without a national news story about teenagers who were arrested on child pornography charges — and face unfathomably long prison sentences — because they had inappropriate pictures of classmates (or even themselves) on their phones. In Iowa, in June 2016, authorities tried to brand a 14-year-old girl as a sex offender for Snapchatting while wearing a sports bra and boy shorts. The following month, Minnesota police officers busted a 17-year-old for swapping consensual sexts with his 16-year-old girlfriend. Such matters should be handled by parents and teachers, not the cops. The same is true for the various issues that plagued Ms. Carter and Mr. Roy.

By all means, let’s empower teachers to confront harassment and refer troubled teenagers to mental health professionals. But we don’t need to broadly criminalize teen cruelty to do that. Nor should we continue down the path of pretending that the First Amendment’s ironclad protection of hateful expression is voided whenever someone says (or texts) something that makes us squirm.

What Ms. Carter said to Mr. Roy was outrageous. Sending her to prison on a possible 20-year sentence is both outrageous and unjust.

If she had text to him go kill yourself whilst he was watching tv or something, then later he decided to do it, I'd be pretty sceptical - but having him actually attempting to go through with it and her stoking the fire and pushing him to do it is a totally different ballpark.
